About Our Course

At Dental Careers Institute, we know the path to success lies in individual, hands-on training. We limit enrollment to eighteen students per course, keeping our maximum class size to six students per instructor. This ensures personal attention while providing a productive and worthwhile learning experience.

A Career in Dental Assisting

In today's competitive marketplace, there are plenty of job opportunities for trained dental assistants. No one can guarantee a job placement, but the industry is currently facing a shortage of knowledgeable and skilled assistants. We prepare you for the R.H.S. (Radiation Health and Safely) examination through D.A.N.B. (Dental Assisting National Board), to earn your state of Maine radiology license, getting you into this in-demand workforce.

How to Begin Your Career

Our dental assisting classes have open enrollment in February and September. We will have an orientation meeting to answer any questions you may have about our course and to provide a chance for you to meet instructors and new students enrolled in the class. If you would like to visit our facility before then, we highly encourage you to do. However, classes fill up quickly, so please send in your deposit as soon as possible.
